Amber is one of the founders of Blue Starz Drama. She started acting at a very early age always keen on being the ‘performer' in the group. Amber Graduated from Drama school in London, England in both Musical Theatre and Acting. She went on tour around the UK with several shows as well as acting in Commercials, Films and TV. Amber moved to Los Angeles several years ago and is now producing and writing as well as continuing to act. She produced her first short last year that involved many of the Blue Starz students. She won ‘Best Acting in a Short’; it has given her a hunger for producing and is now working on her next project. Amber has more than 15 years teaching experience behind her with a passion for teaching the youth of tomorrow and empowering her students to make choices that allow them to be their very own star.  She continues to further develop the Drama side of Blue Starz Productions, along with Michelle. 

Michelle is the founder and principal of BlueStarz Productions. Michelle started dance training as a child  in Cambridge, England and performed professionally from a young age along with her identical twin, Emily.  Together they appeared in several Dance productions, Commercials, Films and Television shows. Michelle graduated from Bird College of Performing Arts in London with a BA (Hons) in Dance and Theatre performance.  She went on to tour the world with the Irish dance sensation Spirit of the Dance, many British Pop acts, sailed the Baltics, and later went on to perform with the Osmond Brothers in Branson, Missouri.  Michelle has been teaching for over 10 years at dance and theatre schools in Cambridge, London and Los Angeles, teaching from 2 years to young adults. As well as teaching and running BlueStarz, Michelle guest teaches twice a year in London for our sister school, Red Star Dance.  Michelle still performs regularly and is an original cast member, currently dancing for the LA Follies, here in Los Angeles!​

                                                   
                                                       

 

                                                        












 

                                                             

 
 
 
​Margaret Hurley began intense  dance training at an early age in New York.   She earned a bachelor's degree in dance at the University of Maryland,  Baltimore County.  She received a certificate of recognition for accomplishment in choreography for her senior project, which was selected to be performed at the American College Dance Festival.  Margaret performed with several professional dance companies in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. areas, including The Phoenix Dance Company, Clancy Works, Movement Addiction and Doug Hamby Dance.  She has ten years experience teaching students of all ages in Baltimore and New York. Before moving to Los Angeles in 2012 she worked at On Hudson Dance in Westchester NY for six years.  There she headed the pre ballet program and modern company.  She was also a member of 'Classics Dance Theatre' a professional ballet company, where she performed principal roles such as Swanilda in Coppelia and Anne Frank.  In addition to teaching Margaret also runs her own professional organizing business, “Organize Happy”.  She is happily married, very excited to be here in Los Angeles and working for BlueStarz Dance & Theatre School!

Originally from Greenville, SC, Stephanie moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to be a part of the Professional Training Program at the Performing Arts Center under the directions of Nanci Hammond and Joe Malone. In this unique scholarship program Stephanie had the opportunity to mentor with many prestigious choreographers and teachers, such as Joe Malone, Michelle Elkin, Terrance Yates, Jerry Evans, Jillian Schmitz, Jackie Evans, and many others. Since living in Los Angeles Stephanie has had the pleasure of dancing in the Daniel Pearl World Music Day with Terrance Yates, on ABC Family’s “Bunheads” with Marguerite Derricks, as an assistant to Michelle Elkin in master classes at summer intensives and conventions, and in the Performing Arts Center show, Artists In Concert.

Molly is a dancer and Choreographer with Go To Talent Agency, inc. based in Los Angeles, CA. Every summer Molly travels to Dallas Conservatory in Dallas, TX and teaches master classes in contemporary and jazz.  She is currently a member of Jaci Royals LA based contemporary dance company "Royal Flux" and she is a dancer with Heidi Duckler Dance Theater.  Molly graduated with BA in Dance from Chapman University and she is grateful to be living her dream as a performer and to have the opportunity to share the love of dance with her students
